Just went through the bed leveling process before the last attempt. I did have to make some minor adjustments, but results were the same. Now trying temperature adjustments.
Do you have any favorite filament brand names?

its really hard to see but its around the lettering it was kinda smerder/streaking when i touched it it fell off and left little pock marks
it was the end of my filament so i know why the top is a bit stringy
Printed anything else? I have started to edit some of my gcode files directly to change the temp of the extruder and bed.
nope other then that little block above. im out of filament til wensday or so but i got some nice bright green and going to try a yoda head it seems to be all the rage and my dad loves that little guy
also got some marijuana leaf cookie cutters in my queue
have you tried using any adhesive on the bed
i went out and bought 2 glue sticks for 30 cents USD
cant wait to try another print i look over at my printer and it sad and hungry (bad 3d printer daddy bad) lol
found this last night i found it quite informative
Here is what it should look like:
and a different perspective:

Bed was leveled, so I guess I need to get some glue stick. What are the recommendation for the type or brand of glue stick. Are they just from like an office supply or art supply store?

I'm assuming you mean for PLA. For PLA I've had really good experience with ZIRO. I did try some Polymaker cuz it's supposed to be a good name brand, (and it was recommended by Angus from Maker's Muse) but, it wasn't worth the price for stupid stuff I print
Now, don't forget that colors change the formula of the filament. I haven't had awesome good luck printing (almost) any brand of translucent stuff. Like this little baby bot. It looks horrible
But, it functioned. The experiment worked, so I didn't bother reprinting it in that filament. I made an R2D2 body for it, but never got round to swapping the guts over. So, yea, translucent doesn't usually work out well for me. I did get some RED translucent from Ziro. Now THAT worked real nice. It took a LOT of tweaking to get it just right tho, especially since I was printing it on other things
Like this was printed on clear plexiglass. That was fun
And this was printed on another print, which was also fun
Haven't cleaned up the stringing yet and I should have used a higher density, but, nobody but me is gonna see it, so...
Then there's the settings. I'm making a tank for the Jetson and I needed tank treads, so I'm printing the treads out of carbon fiber. Both these prints are the same spool, but I changed some settings to make it easier to drill out the axles, and just look at the difference
That's all settings
But I've also got a hodgepodge of parts and things to make each job easier.
From .2MM nozzles all the way up to 1.2MM as well as solid steel for printing the carbon fiber, so, it's not just filament. Everything can be tweaked.
Sometimes you go the right way, sometimes you don't. It's more of an art than a science I think
i still know nothing.
but maybe try to lower your print speed
If you look on one side, the lines are close and touching, but on the other, they are further apart and skinny. This is a sign of the bed being unlevel. I would also add some stickage (glue) as well. New glass is slick anyway.

this is what i got. got it at walmart for $0.30
i should have got clear but it says it drys clear soo meh
and it was recommended by Angus from Maker's Muse
i found his channel last night instant sub 🙂
