Hello everyone!
I write from Italy, so forgive my accent 😉 and the many inaccuracies of my EnglishΒ
Finally over 56 🤓 , I have only old and weak notions in electronics. Anyway I am very curious about microcontroller's world, robotics and audio.
I work as a hardware technician and I have developed some small laboratory management software (chemical, textile).
Thank you all for your contributions and interesting information that you make available in this forum.
Bye!

Welcome to the forum.
Anything seems possible when you don't know what you're talking about.
Welcome! 56? Nice to have a youngster among us. π You'll find folks helpful and fun. I'm curious what you want to do with audio, as I'm a musician and sound/recording engineer (not pro).

Thanks for the welcome!
@binaryrhyme ... in the short term I would like to build a headphone amplifier
@warmbeer Awesome. Transistor theory, here we come. π

Probably no transistor theory required.Β I suspect it will use two op amps. No op amp theory required either if it simply involves soldering up an already designed project.

@robotbuilder True true. But I was warming up for a discussion of Beta, yet again, because, y'know, it's been the topic du jour lately, lol.

I promise to rtfm first, and ask something only after ... anyway i'm an absolute beginner, so the project won't be anything complicated. The goal is to learn a little, having fun.
however, I was thinking of a solution similar to this one https://bsproj.it/ba120/
