Be sure to take the time to take care of yourself. Being a caregiver can really take it out of you.
so i got hooked up with this yesterday the battery's in have leaked so I'm going to take it a part and clean it just wondering if any one is interested in seeing what it looks like on the in side
The system won't let me post the sketch. Says it's similar to spam (or something like that, can't remember the exact error message.) Anyhow, this thing uses a 7-point median filter to remove any sensor spikes. I'll post the sketch if anyone is interested and if I figure out how to get around the false positive spam alert.
Here's a suggestion for posting the code, if you haven't already tried this,...
1. In the Arduino IDE with your code right-click in the code window and choose from the pop-up menu "Copy as HTML"
2. Then come back here and click on the source code button at the top of the edit window {:}
3. Paste the Arduino HTML code into that box and choose OK.
That should place your code into the post with precisely the same formatting it has in the Arduino IDE including color schemes and everything.
Hopefully this will for for you.

I tried the procedure you suggested. It didn't work and gave the same error. It looked good in the preview (color and formatting all intact), but it thinks I'm using spam posting software. I captured the message and put it in the previous post.
Just between you and me I think this forum has become Hal the A.I. from 2001 Space Odyssey. I can't upload pictures anymore, and I get a "502 Bad Gateway" error after every post I make. Strangely when I come back to the forums I see that the post was actually posted.

Hii my day was great today ! Took off from office and could reach some landmark
Struggling to make navigation using hector SLAM, so little i know and so much to learn !
@sdey76
Sounds like a fun project. I wrote a Windows program in C# for the navigation of my robot. It appears that Hector SLAM is doing something similar. What types of sensors are you using on the robot?

i got this a little bit back and just about to start work on it. i want to try to make a mini tank using wood for a body and a mini single shot nerf gun as the cannon using blue tooth to my phone with a couple servo's for aiming and one for firing. hope it works out as good as it does in my head
hope it works out as good as it does in my head
Rest assured that it always does. ?
My tank is shooting Nerf balls
just as I had planned
except for one small problem
I don't fully understand
It will only shoot them at me
and never where I say
and here it comes again
with its deadly Nerf ball ray

An image with at least twice the resolution would look good?
Do I make out a kinect and a lidar in the image?
I see robot vacuum cleaners that use a lidar to map rooms and are controlled by a smart phone app.
How do you connect with the robot to display the mapping?
The weakness in most of robot vacuums is the inability to empty themselves and self clean.
... hope it works out as good as it does in my head ...
Sadly I find it never does. Just a single software or hardware bug can take time to track down.
Usually things take much longer to get working (for me anyway) than I imagined it would take.

even more so for me. i dont really code. i can read code but not write it. im a copy and paste ninja. im hoping it will work out ive got 6 dogs to hunt with it. they all love playing with the bots ive made. its so cute watching them play with them
