Hi so I am looking to make a simple circuit to give a positive indication of when an air ionizer is “on” and actively generating ions.
I envision using a simple, single-stage JFET that lights an LED. The input would be from a metallic strip placed near the exhaust airstream with the output driving an LED. I’m hoping that the high input impedance of the FET would make it sensitive enough to drive it to conduct.
