I have a Raspberry Pi 8Gb model B on order coming up a year now. Last Friday I was contacted by the company I ordered it from saying that this piece of Unobtainium will be unattainable for most of 2023. They have offered me an Okdo Rock 4 C+ 4Gb. Has anyone got any experience on these boards?
Just as a footnote Okdo are one of the manufacturers of the Pi boards what a find ironic.

Not sure you are being told the truth. 100,000 units of various Pi boards have shipped recently and working through the supply chain. More are on the way and full production will be back by the fall. There will be NO Pi 5 this year, deep financial losses need to be recovered first.
As far as the physical board maker offering their own, it's China, they steal IP. It is what has cost NA tens of thousands or more jobs. A less judgemental view is that we have gone thru and will go thru again these big changes. Imagine what happened to the families of wagon makers, wagon wheel manufacturers, horse breeders, and the famous buggy whip makers when the automobile 'craze' took off.
Arduino says and I agree, in general, the const keyword is preferred for defining constants and should be used instead of #define
