Hello Everyone

I join as a beginner to get myself up-to-date with some of the latest technology and hopefully to reduce the further decline of my brainpower in these days of lockdown.

I used to dabble with electronics 30 or more years ago and I think my last project was extending the memory on my Tandy computer beyond it’s 40K or so.

I’ve been very much taken with Bill’s excellent videos and have been very impressed by the small size and low price of the microprocessors that are available today.

Therefore please be patient if you find me asking some silly questions as I catch up on today’s terminology.

To Bill I say your videos are great and very well presented.  I look forward to seeing more.

Everyone has been helpful and understanding here.  Though I've only started posting recently, I've lurked for about a year.  Although I'm only in my 60's, it sounds more like a place to discuss my kidney stones (chronic) and brain farts (often).  Making with electronics is about doing and learning where we can all learn from each other.  Young and old, across the spectrum.  There's already an off topic discussion area which is not often used.

Feel free to tell me I'm wrong if you want.  This is just my opinion and you'll find no argument.
