Hello from northern California, I am 80 years old, self-taught over the last 40 years and I have seen a lot of change. I enjoy hobbytronics of all kinds with a special interest in robotics. I must confess I'm a little intimidated joining a group of sharp young people. I hope you will be able to tolerate this old man. Thank you for the opportunity.
Welcome! So nice to be called young in your 60s... in point of fact, the place is overrun by all manner of smarty-pants codgers, lol.
I edit my posts to fix typos, correct grammar, or improve clarity. On-screen keyboards are evil.
Thank you for your friendly responses. I was afraid of getting an unfriendly reply from impatient young guys. I am trying to transition to the ESP32 and finding it to be very powerful but now I have a lot of new nomenclatures to learn. I'm wanting to use Bluetooth as the setup for getting a project on wifi for the first startup.
I would like the individual to enter SSID and password then store the info in flash.
welcome @Techme2, Indeed there are a number of us "ol' codgers" on this forum..I myself am 75, and a retired industrial Instrumentation/Electrical process control technician..I worked in the maintenance dept. in pulp & paper for 30 of my 49 years in electronics and instrumentation/process automation. So your in good company.. a lot of pretty sharp people on here, so the emphases is on learning new things, and maybe passing along some things we know as well..
have fun, and be safe...
kind Regards,
LouisR
