From the deep south.

Hello all.

I am new to this forum and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Allan Walls and I am a retired surgeon and a full time macro photographer and YouTube content creator. I became interested in electronics a couple of years ago, when I was trying to build novel and practical devices for use in high-magnification photography (triggers, positioning systems, etc.). I have had some success, but not much, and in the process of trying to learn more, I came across Bill's video channel on YT. His approach to teaching electronics is very similar to my own approach to teaching photography and I have learned a great deal from his work. I came across this forum when visiting Bill's website and thought that being a part of this community would be an excellent way to accelerate my learning.

My only concern is that I lack sufficient understanding in the field to be able to contribute anything to the members of this group.

Anyway, I'm glad to be here and look forward to being a part of your group. Thanks for letting me tag along!
