Hello everyone!

I'm Andrea,

I'm an Italian currently living in London for work, and in the past months (thanks to the 2020/2021 world situation) I've rediscovered my Arduino "passion".

I'm not new to this hardware, I've used it back in 2009 when studying at the university for some lab projects.

Was fascinated by it's possibilities back then, but stopped working with it when got my degree as all my time has been used by other things (like finding a job 😋)

Not sure if is for the better, but in the past months I've found myself with a whole lot of "unused" time (no commutes, no gym and worst of all, no pub) so i looked for a 3D printer to do something constructive, and opted for a resin 3D printer.

Only after the thing arrived, I've discovered that after you 3D print something, the object needs to "cure" (after it's been cleaned), and UV lights in London are somewhat a problem, at least they are in my apartment.

Curing stations are not exactly cheap tho, so I had this brilliant idea "why not build something myself?" and so here I am, with my newfound Arduino passion, and a couple of projects waiting to be developed.

While looking for resources to brush up on my skills, I ended up on a video from Bill about Arduino (can't remember which one) and was amazed by his style and, most of all, the length of the videos.

Sometimes a video too lengthy is boring and is full of "empty" content.
Bill instead manages to keep you hooked into the video till the end, with always interesting information and "fun facts" that I find incredibly useful.

i know this is not at all easy to do, so I wanted to join the forum to say a big THANK YOU to Bill and to get in touch with the existing community as I have plenty to learn, and hopefully something interesting to share.

See you around folks!

Too bad about the pub, but you seem to have a great plan.
