I stumbled on this while watching a YouTube AD, that I didn't Skip, it grabbed me, watched the whole thing, and later found their website...  https://www.circuito.io/

I started playing with it...  It's FREE...

The first thing you do is be sure of the Controller you want to use, Arduino UNO, Nano, etc. etc. by swapping OUT of the UNO and selecting a different controller.  If you want the UNO, you're all set by Default.

Basically, what you do is Design what you want by Selecting components from their library (on left side) and Dragging them to the Right to Build your design...  As you drag components over, it produces & displays how it's wired to the circuit...  You look for and select all of the components you want in your circuit.  When done, you click on Code!

Then, you will see a short program that will use the components, the best way it can...  You can copy/paste it or they say Download it (which I haven't tried yet), and play with it.

They also have a Product Guide section where the complete process is spelled out for you... Instructing you how to Wire / Build / Test / Debug / and publish your project!

It is awesome!

I've just started playing with it...  Some components like the NRF24L01 xvr cannot be tested because they are Testing it and you're on your own for those...

Has anyone else used this?

If so, what do you think of it?  Good / Bad?  What have you done with it?

It gets right down to required resisters / caps, etc.!  When you are done, gives you a complete Bill of Materials (a Component List)!   And, if you want, Order parts from them!  (they way they make money)...

It is awesome...  Takes you from Start to Finish...!!

Let me know what you think!!  OK?

Thank you,

Do you have a link to the Fritzing example?

The CircuitTo.IO requires an account and probable payment in the future. No way until I really know what can be done with it and if it is of any use to me personally.

@robotbuilder

I just googled Fritzing and found that it looked like it could everything CircuiTo IO could do & possibly more...

I have not checked into it any more than that...

Many things start out as FREE and then, when the population is right, they decide to make everyone Pay.

That is the normal way to get established.

CircuiT.IO needs an Account setup because one has Options to buy the parts required for the project.  I will not do that... (unless the price is right & I need the part).   I have not thoroughly checked them out on the Other services they provide...  Maybe some of those are not FREE, I don't know yet.

I definitely plan on checking out Fritzing more to see if I like it better than CircuiTo.IO.

I've been seeing fritzing more & more on the forums and, at first, thought it was just another name for Doodling...  NOT.  LOL

I was surprised that no one mentioned Fritzing here to let me know about it.  These are exciting programs!

To see what CircuiT.IO can do, just go there and try it out...  It's super SIMPLE...  you easily find components and Click n drag them onto the Circuit portion of the screen...  and the circuit diagram is updated immediately with added resistors & caps,, etc. also shown.  It's awesome...  I was playing round with a circuit that got a little complicated...  Then, I decided that I forgot a RTC Chip...  All I had to do was find the RTC chip I wanted & Dragged it to the circuit and WALLAH, it was modified...  SUPER TOOL...  To just build the circuit is really a time saver...  to me anyway...

You can swap processors to see how it will work... UNO, to Nano, to Tiny, etc.  Very interesting.

Once you get the circuit all set the way you like it, you can proceed to another section where it will give you STEP BY STEP instructions on Wiring the Circuit...  wire by wire...  pin to pin...

I'm not sure, but, I wouldn't be surprised to see an option where they could actually have a circuit board prepared (at additional cost).   They get additional income from Parts Sales & possibly other services..

I'm looking forward to seeing what Fritzing can do!  It looks good too...  so far.

Thank you for the comment.
