I'm working on a new project that requires me to have 6 motor controllers (all less than 6VDC)
As far as I know, none require PWM, but, I guess having 2 of them perform that task would be ok
I've got an SB Motor Board which has 4 PWM motor controllers on it, and I also have an Adafruit Crikit Hat
The motor controller has stackable pins, and the Crikit's documentation says that it uses I2C for comms
Does this mean that I can go ahead and stack the things and try to use them both (after I try to figure out how to use I2C of course) ?
Cuz that would be cool, cuz then I'd still have a bunch of pins for servos, cuz I could think of stuff to add to it with servos, like, you know, cool things
The Crikit looks cool. It had the word "robot" in the ad, so I bought it

Where are the motor controllers? On the bottom of the board? All I see are connectors.

Great minds think alike. ?
I buy a lot of junk that's advertised for use in robotics. I guess subconsciously I'm thinking that if I buy enough "robot stuff", maybe someday I'll actually end up with a robot.

Yea, on the bottom. Looks like a pair of L293's. It gets better tho...
There's LIGHTS on the top of the board 🙂
4 sets of mini LED's in the shape of arrows that would probably bear no relation whatsoever to the direction that the robot is actually travelling. But they light up, which makes it cool
On the other hand, if what I'm planning to do will actually work, then I'm gonna end up plugging that Crikit board right on top of the lights, so nobody will ever see them anyway

Oh no!
Wasted days and wasted lights
they left me for a darker place
Underneath a higher shield
their light eternally concealed
And now I need to brace
for a life devoid of grace
Darkness overtakes the chore
a project loved,.. I now abhor
The LEDs removed from sight
a once-cool project becomes but trite
