After experiencing the same kind of issues that @robo-pi encountered with the "per servo" settings, i went cruising the seas of the www again, to find another Arduino/Servo/PWM...
I'm now looking at the source code of this relatively new library, which looks very promising :
To achieve these kinds of speed/accel https://easings.net/
with/without synchronized movement of servos, PCA9685 or not, etc...

Thanks for posting this. I'm sure this info will be useful for many different applications in robotic servo control.
