Screen-capture didn't pan out, but am sending settings (Servo in Voltage Control mode) here. See attached Word document.
Again, I am getting a "Stall" flag, but am able to rotate the shaft (hence, resonant frequency on the loop antenna) quite consistently. In my case, 1.2 degrees = 1 kHz, approximately, but I will need establish how "linear" that is as I don't think it is over the entire 300 kHz of bandwidth.
See the Word file that shows some of the parameter settings.

Jim,
Did you have issues with lap-top or desk-top when connecting to the controller over Wi-Fi? I still can't do it and must connect using my Android phone.
Best!
Juha
Jim,
Managed to connect to the controller using an "ancient" lap-top, but I still need to be able to do that on another, more conveniently located lap-top.
Attached, see the Python code (Word doc). I just copied the code and pasted into this Word doc.
Need to play with parameters still to get rid of "stall flags". Again, Servo under Voltage control that I have found to work for me.

Juha,
No I did not. Today I finally set up the WifiStepper as a "station" on my home network, and it works!
Prior to that change, I always had to make sure that the wsx100 network was connected to my laptop wifi.
I then had no problem running the Quickstart or even the set-up portion of my Python script.
Thank you for the .docx. I will study it and see if my senility improves.

Hi Jim,
Awesome!
Now, this may seem like an "odd" question, but how did you set it up as a "station?"
Good evening from Texas,
Juha
Juha,
Watched this Getting Started video https://www.wifistepper.com/getting-started.html several times, and followed step by step. I also had to use the ipscan program to get my stepper IP address after connected. In setting station I used my main wifi SSID just as if I wanted to login to my router. Make sure the main SSID is also accessible thru wifi. If having problems, I used the WifiStepper reset to factory defaults process. I am using Windows 8.1 so overall process may be a bit different with other OS.

Jim,
Thanks for getting back. I didn't even know there was a "Tutorial."
My O/S is Windows 10 and I have set up the stepper as an AP rather than a station. It comes up nicely on my Android phone, even Kindle Fire HD8 and the "antique" XP lap-top, but doesn't on the Windows 10 machine. When I switch off WiFi and then back on again I can see the stepper controller, but on the Windows 10 machine there is an error and nothing shows up (Quick Start or Settings ) except the IP address I had typed into the search window.
Let's see.
Juha
