My name is Bing. I live in mainland China and retired about 5 years ago from my work as a science literacy promoter at the Zhejiang Association for Science and Technology. In my later year at work I initiated the ASTSpace for the communities in the city of Hangzhou. ASTSpace is a open lab that run programs conjured up its member groups that formed out of their common interest in a particular topic of interests in science and technology. Being part of the Space, we refer each other as ASTers. In fact, AST stood for several meaning, such as: A for Advancing, and academics and with always S for science and T for Technology. It came to abrupt stop in 2019 for reasons that would require extensive and specified explanations. Too long and complicated to elaborate here. For my work, I did many work I thought was important for promoting the advancement in science and technology. They generally have to do with device ways to open up creativities for spreading scientific information for the publics that they would yearn to participate. They were meant to effectively raise the awareness of publics to the latest development in science and the applications of them.

Welcome to the forum Bing.

Anything seems possible when you don't know what you're talking about.
