@microhead Ok, you are in the right place. It looks like the board is still not recognized.
1. Make sure the Arduino Create Agent is running.
2. Right click on the Arduino Create Agent and click on Open Configuration
3. Take a screen grab of that and post it in a reply to this post.
4. Show me a screen grab that looks like mine posted after here

Hardware - Expert in 1401, and 360, fairly knowledge in PC plus numerous MPU's and MCU's
Major Languages - Machine language, 360 Macro Assembler, Intel Assembler, PL/I and PL1, Pascal, Basic, C plus numerous job control and scripting languages.
My personal scorecard is now 1 PC hardware fix (circa 1982), 1 open source fix (at age 82), and 2 zero day bugs in a major OS.
@microhead To re-iterate, you appear to be clicking the correct Icon. If the board is not online then of course nothing will happen. I see it's an S3, does it have the 2 USB-C connectors like mine does? If so, you must be plugged into the left (USB) not right (COM) port.
It is not uncommon to have difficulties getting a board to be recognized under Windows, this is one reason I left Windows for Apple after being both a Beta tester and consultant to IBM PC and Windows.

@microhead Any progress? I plan on stepping away from the forum but want to wrap up any outstanding issues.

Hi Ron,
Thanks for your help. I never could get the board to go on line. Had to take a break from it.
Sorry you are leaving the forum. Hope its not from working with me!
I'll figure it out. The board operates, goes on the internet just fine, working fine with the IDE.
Thanks again!
