Greetings!!! Have always been interested in things electronic, been around a long long time.
Got started in electronics building almost every Heathkit available. Built lots of magazine projects.
Have renewed interest in electronics with the advent of cheap boards, parts and kits. Hope I can contribute something of value to the Forum.
@sky-king Welcome to the forum. I built a few kits from Heathkit as well, the biggest was a ham radio, I think it was called an AR3. That was a very long time ago.

Oh I don't have any of the Heath stuff now,,that was years ago!!!
@sky-king Ok, my hearing aid guy has a backroom full of tube radios. He likes to refurbish them and also the beautiful wooden cases. Somebody is still making the parts, I will ask him next time I see him.

I haven't used the transmitter in years, I graduated to solid state transceivers.
It still has the famous 6146 main RF driver tube.
I have other hobbies now.
