Hello my name is Mark and I interested in learning everything I can about using Micro controllers to assist in my Farm. I have watched many videos but I know that I am going to need some assistance from time to time. If I can I would like to be able to help others at some point. I am glad to be a part of this community and thank you for the opportunity!

Welcome Mark! I'm sure most anyone here that can... will... help you. In the things I know something about... I sure will. And although I have a brown thumb, my wife simply sprouts plants out of thin air. I'm always looking for ways of sharing her world. So... what kind of farming do you do and what are your goals... as you think can be helped by micro controllers?

@gomermil Welcome to the forum. I think we have a few farmer types here so you will not be alone. Once you have a well defined project, start a new topic in the appropriate forum and someone will answer.
Arduino says and I agree, in general, the const keyword is preferred for defining constants and should be used instead of #define

My experience hours are >75,000 and I stopped counting in 2004.

@inq I would like to have my water controlled by them if I can. Just to let me know how much I have at first then move on from there.
