Hello everyone, Martin (aka NoGoArea) here. I'm new to this field as well as to this forum - I joined because I've become interested in the possibilities of Arduino for artistic uses. I paint and do some sculpture and other things, and I decided I wanted to include some light effects using real light: someone suggested Arduino might be a way forward, and here we are. I'm just trying to get a...vocabulary of knowledge and skills, I suppose. I live in London: I'm a tourist guide for visitors coming to London and the rest of the UK, and....I look forward to learning and participating here. Cheers!

Welcome to the forum @NoGoArea,   Indeed,, you came to the right place for learning and picking up the "vocabulary of knowledge and skills".. As you peruse the videos that are accessible thru the forum, you will see many projects that can be considered "Artistic" in nature..especially with LED's...

Have fun, and be safe!

kind regards,

LouisR

Maybe search the internet for examples of using Arduino and the fastled library to control RGB LED strips and RGB LED arrays?
