Hello all, I'm Guido and living in Antwerp, Belgium. Back in the end of the 80's I graduated as Industrial engineer computer engineering. As job I did different things, currently working as a logistic engineer.
A couple of months ago I re-discovered my interests in electronics, computers and software, making I started to look around how to start with it again as a hobby. That's how I arrived at Arduino. I'm still in the very beginning phase playing a little bit with an Arduino Mega 2650. As I wanted to start things with a camera, wifi etc I bought myself an TTGO T-camera plus. To be honest, not a simple one to start working with.
Nevertheless, First steps are to get more used to these environments, get the earlier knowledge back up to level and play with it. At least DroneBot seems a real good source of information and practices
Greetings Guido - I have much respect for industrial engineers - lord knows I wrestle with making physical stuff both functional and attractive, lol. Interested to see what you bring in for show and tell. 🙂
I edit my posts to fix typos, correct grammar, or improve clarity. On-screen keyboards are evil.
Hi Guido63
Sounds like you took back up the reigns of a past life, the same as myself.
I have to say thay I have found the experience of using arduino technology and c++ programming immensely rewarding and I am sure that you will also.
I, like you, am new to this forum and I am very pleased that its members are very supportive and helpful.
Welcome
