Hi Everyone
My name is Duncan and I am into nodel railways. As a child I visited the National Motor Museum at Beaulea, Hampshire, UK and then saw a magnificent (to my "child's eyes") model railway with loads of interactive parts that added a superb background to the layout itself. Now some 50+ years later I have the time to turn a passing hobby into a full time obsesion. To that end I started to investigate Arduino to control not only my points (turnouts to those in the USA) but also several camio action pieces. I came to this site looking for code to control these options and thence to the forum.

Welcome Duncan. Very cool. Fun fact: The genus of the MIT artificial intelligence lab was the Tech Model Railway Club. Read Steven Levy's Hackers for the blow by blow.
