Hi Fellers and Fellerettes. 

I am living in a truck fitted out for Off Grid Solar and with a modest workshop. I previously had it set up with a Raspberry Pi running openHAB controlling all the lights. After a visit to the tropics I discovered that monsoonal rain can pass directly through 3 mm alluminium sheet employing some form quantum tunneling.  I am starting from scratch using a Raspberry Pi in one section but with ESP32 nodes in different sections of the truck. I am at the very beginning of this project.

I did Bill's "Build a Developer's Linux Workstation - Complete Guide" last night - and that started out a bit weird - upshot is it is running Kubuntu 21.04.
