Fred Hunt introduction

Hello everyone.  My name is Fred Hunt.  I am a Registered Professional Mechanical Engineer in California.  My professional career has focused on mechanical and fluid handling product design and development.

When it comes to electronics, I am a neophyte.  Most of my career, I have had electrical engineering support to handle the electrical side of projects.  I have picked up some rudimentary electrical knowledge, but no where near what I would need to handle the electrical side of many product designs.

I retired in January 2020.  To keep my mind sharp, I decided to pursue some independent product design and development projects.  If nothing else, it gives me a chance to have good learning experiences.  One of those experiences is attempting to learn how to program and use microcontrollers and microcomputers.  I discovered the Dronebot Workshop while following those attempts.  I find Bill to be a very good teacher, so I asked to join the forum.  I may not be able to contribute much, but I think that I can learn a lot.

I look forward to interacting with the website and the forum.
