My passion is to animate objects in my yard haunt. I want to add the Arduino to control props. I'm trying to make a 3 axis skull. My goal is to animate two skulls to interact between themselves. Yes, plenty of prop controls out on the market but I have the Arduinos and stuff so I want to do it myself.
I want to hack the store-bought props like talking skulls and get my own programming to control them.
Later I want to control Christmas lights as well.
I am tinkering with using capacitive Soil moisture sensors to automate watering plants and possibly expanding it to the garden to maintain the watering of plants out in the yard.

Sounds good!
Have you started any projects that you're having difficulty with the code, hardware, etc... yet, and have any specific questions?
Cheers!
@frogandtoad, I have started a few projects copying others, like the 3 axis skull. This is based on a guy from Germany and his thingiverse project.
I want to change over my Monster in a box to be controlled by a Uno or nano. I want to incorporate a mp3 card to play ambient sounds until the prop is triggered. Then it would change the LEDs from yellow to red and fog and growling would start.
I found a program called Octobanger that basically does what I want, but I want to know how to program it.
