Installed a rep rap discount LCD to ramps board lights up but no graphics this is the 3 LCD so it has to be maybe a power issue I only have the board plugged into the computer does it have enough power to push the LCD or does the printer have to be plugged in? This is very well frustrating this feature must work SD card printing is going to be a must with this robot if I can slice from blender to SD card I can really do something neat.though I already have octoprint and print run i n my opinion from looking at the 2 the creativity ability is going to far and away exceed that of octoprint blender is just fantastic a little complicated but after watching the tutorial its very learnable so thanks in advance for any advice otherwise I'm going to buy the key studio all in one ramps mega awesome board I may get it anyway!???

Well here you go I resolved it for those of you doing scratch build 3d printers and can't get the LCD screen going you have to get configure the pin outs in the u8glib there is 128 boards to choose from in the examples find yours and choose it still doesn't work you may have to reconfigure the pin outs to a custom setting but its do able .
