This is a test topic. If I set things correctly it should not appear in the list of "Recent posts"

I found it by clicking on Recent Posts at the top of the page.
It does list at the top of the page there as a recent post.
However it's not showing up on the list of recent posts to the right.

That would actually make sense. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
I couldn't find a setting anywhere to keep a forum from appearing in "recent posts", although that's not saying that I didn't overlook it - there are LOTS of settings! So I modified the widget on the sidebar to filter out anything from the test forum.
