Hi, I'm a farmer and an educator. I've been working on developing a remote sensor array using arduino and wireless communication. I find that I'm a bit out of my depth on some of this. Hopefully I can find some help here to make my project better. Looking forward to the conversation.
Welcome to the forum. You should find some helpful people here skilled with communication issues.
Anything seems possible when you don't know what you're talking about.
Welcome! What manner of farming and what area of education? My smarter half grew up on a farm, and her parents were also educators (University and High School) - so that's a nice coincidence.
What kind of projects do you have in mind?

Right now I have a small vegetable farm. I've worked in the university system in the past. Currently my educational activities are centered around sustainable/regenerative food production. I'm working on a wireless sensor array to log data from test plots so we can track the impact of changes on various food production systems. I'm building a network of tensiometers, temperature probes, and something to measure forage growth rate (this one has some mechanical elements and will use a sensor i havent determined yet).
Sounds fascinating. The forage growth sensor sounds like a bit of a challenge.
