Hi to all.  I am a retired HW/SW engineer; but I still love to tinker with both.  My radio amateur callsign is K7LOG.  As an adjust to my homebrewing radio gear I got into 3D printing with an Ender-3.  Plus I sing in a couple of local chorales.

Since I had been using Arduino and also the Raspberry Pi modules for various projects the new Raspberry Pi Pico caught my eye.  And that interest led me to Bill's video channel and this forum.

My expectation is that there is a lot to be learned from your posts and hopefully I will be able to contribute something in return that helps someone else.

Cheers,
-rick

Welcome Rick,

You have a good head start with your background. I am thinking about getting a 3D printer at some point. I have been using Design Spark Mechanical as my 3D modeling program more for just building things in software as it really helps catch the errors in my design. I also use it to make sure my boards and components fit in the project box the right way. What software do you use for designing your 3D projects ?
