I have built a robot using basic stamps, but am now converting it to use Arduino and other microcontrollers. The fact that the Arduino uses a language that is familiar to me and given the large number of sketches available, this move was a no brainer. I am a recently retire Mechanical Engineer, so I have more time to spend on this hobby.
