I'm building some mechatronics stuff for a woodworker friend currently. I have been completely amazed by the coding abilities of chatGPT lately. I do custom fabrication at www.treeonahillworkshop.com.

Yes, ChatGPT (along with Copilot, Gemini, and some others) have come a long way in being able to write usable code for various projects. I have experimented with it some and have found it useful in various situations.
The examples of your woodworking and fabrication projects on your website are also quite impressive!
As you will soon learn, there are many members on here with varied levels of expertise in both hardware and software development. Of course, our host, Bill (@dronebotworkshop), is a master at explaining many of the hardware and software concepts we use everyday.
We'd love to hear about your ongoing projects. If you have questions or run into a problem with something, there are many members more than willing to help. All you have to do is ask!! Just post your query in the appropriate (subject) forum.
