Hello to all,
my name is Roberto, I live in Italy and I started loving electronics several years ago when I was young.
Electronics is a thought matter, and even if I have a discrete knowledge of several parts, I always focused on the "digital" part, with microprocessor boards and chips. My knowledge of the "analog" part, with filters, radio frequencies, antennas, inductance and all this "traditional" stuff are very weak.
Since I started to work as programmer after the schools, it was natural for me to focus on micro-controller boards like Arduino, ESP8266, ESP32, PIC as a consequence.
I know several programming languages, and I worked and programmed on several past computer families, from Vic 20, Commodore 64, Amiga, IBM PC, till the modern PCs.
My house is full of boards, tools, instruments, like the Doc. Brown's house from Back to the Future, and any friend that comes to visit me says that that is not a house but a laboratory..... 😆
I like also 3D printing. I have one Prusa i3 Mk3s+MMU2s , a Rigidbot (from a Kickstarter project), and a very old Reprap Mendel. I have also several other interests like drawings, playing piano, and soundtrack collection.
