I am Darwin from Lynden Ontario. I am retired and have more of a mechanical background. I volunteer as a mentor with a high school robotics team so first got introduced to arduino there when we did a "go baby go" project converting a power wheels car for kids with disabilities. I bought a Mega starter kit a couple years ago because I had a solar panel project I wanted to work on. So started going through the sample sketches to learn and finally started the project last spring. Well I was away over my head and got a little help a couple times but google and "Bill's explanations has helped a lot. Finally got it working the way I wanted late fall and need to add some small things when the weather gets nicer. In the meantime I just finished the simple power supply that Bill did in one of his videos with a case that I 3d printed so it is nice and small. (about 3.25" cube.  So Thanks again to Bill for all the work he has done in the workshop.
