Hi everyone, I teach at a private secondary school in Thailand. I'm on this forum because I'm teaching STEM skills using Arduino and 3D design/printing to make gadgets, and want to learn as much as possible from other hobbyists and educators, and offer help to others.

  • Skill I want to improve: moving beyond the breadboard to making finished gadgets
  • Skill I think I can help others with: 3D modeling with Fusion 360

Cheers everyone!

Hi @bushgeek, welcome to the forum.

It is great to see another Asia Expat on here.  🙂

I hope COVID-19 hasn't disrupted life too much.

Cheers!

@sysguru Thanks! May I ask where you are located?

We are very blessed that the virus has barely touched us here. With very strict measures, we only ever had 3000 people infected and 55 deaths in a population of 70 million. More die on the roads in one day here. Malls/restaurants etc. are back open. But everyone must wear masks and stay distant all the same.

I'm an Aussie living in Hong Kong, been here 3 years.  Normally I would travel to Bangkok once a year for a team conference, but it was cancelled this year.  Also had to cancel a holiday in Phuket over Easter.

Haven't been anywhere else in Thailand yet.  Not sure if I will get a chance before I move back down under.

Which part are you in?

I'm just outside of Bangkok. Actually teaching online until July so I'm staying in a beachfront airbnb for a couple months. I could get used to this!
