Hello, I am building a robotic X-Y positioner.  I am presently developing the mechanism.  The X-axis rail I have is too heavy for my purpose (80/20 aluminum extrusion and linear bearing with nylon pads).

Can anyone recommend a light-weight rail with a ball bearing - bearing, or where to look for one or examples?

The rail is 3 feet long.  it extends out from the Y-axis and is not connected to anything at the end opposite of the Y-axis.

Thank You,  this is my first post after my introduction.

Here's a 1000mm linear rail guide with sliding guide block

"https://www.amazon.ca/MGN12-100-1000mm-Linear-MGN12H-Sliding/dp/B09JBPQTY6/ref=sr_1_9?crid=1I9EVRL7J8MWH&keywords=900mm%2Blinear%2Brail%2Bsliding&qid=1641177697&sprefix=900mm%2Blinear%2Brail%2Bsliding%2Caps%2C142&sr=8-9&th=1"

Anything seems possible when you don't know what you're talking about.
