HMC 5883 Real? Nope! What now?

Hello all, Does anyone know where I can buy a real HMC 5883 breakout board ? After calling on the forum to decipher French website for me, I was very excited to start my new project, a compass controlled servo. I purchased a HMC 5883 from Amazon and you guessed it was a phony. After some online research I discovered I was not alone. My research pointed out that a real HMC 5883 will have a L88E chip while all that are sold on Amazon have a 5883Chip,even the ones that show a L88 in the photo state that a 5883  is used in the breakout board, if you read the description. I have been unable to determine exactly what I have , it looks like the top of the chip has been sandblasted! It is enough to drive you nuts.

I tried to use the Amazon version of the HMC 5883 by down loading the  QMC5883L Compass  library but the calibration program will not work, rendering the compass useless.  Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Quince
