Jumping into the oscilloscope jungle.

 😎 I've chose the following for features I like and a decent cost.  

One feature I like is that you can test all the buttons and LED buttons when you first start it up.   Although I'm not sure if there's anything you could do to fix them if they didn't work.  If there's nothing you can do when they aren't working then test this pretty much useless. The front panel test starts at 4:00 on his video.

I'm also interested in learning about various digital protocols, IIC is certainly one of them. He gave an example at about 10:00 if I can get that far I think I can figure out the rest.  Will supposedly also do SPI and CAN and I may be able to do others as well so lots of learning opportunities for me on the scope.

My only question is whether I should sink in another $30 to upgrade to the DSO2D10 and get the 25 megahertz oscillator with it?   Probably be nice to have in the end.

I see the answer is no to this option. When adding this option you lose other options I'd rather keep so I'll just skip the oscillator option.
