@inq I'm just using it to practice outside of annie project so I dont break it im trying to use millis ternary operator delay and whatever sensors I can throw in .I thought it might be better to use this platform first.

Still a bit of a current issue but it's  just a matter of rearranging.

Fantastic!  At some point I want to make a hand and was thinking about using strings to remote all the servos/steppers.  This is great!  Being relatively new to the forum, I didn't know about Annie.  She seems to have quite the following here. 🤗

Do you have details here or on some other forum about Annie's history and/or details and drawings?

VBR,

Inq

P.S. - I need to get to the library tomorrow, so I can actually see your videos on this thread.  I'm sure they will answer many questions.

@inq 😊  Annie is mostly here on the dronebot forums. I  don't  have drawings but you can pretty much build most of the body for Annie out of the now 1.25 store using the foam panels and construction paper plastic sheets will back up the servos. It's light so it's easy to cut and it's cheap! I can walk anyone through this build pretty easily. I will post sizes for the template for the housing and Annie's converse.this project is made for this forum so people can affordability build an ai robot and get developing 👍I can also post sizes for Annie's trike the project is mounted on and Annie's sound system.it may sound like a lot but it's a build you can coast through. The string for the hand is actually high strength nylon used for car interiors I highly recommend it .if you have any questions just chime in.

At the moment, I'm not near able to handle such a huge project.  I have to wrap my brain around smaller issues one at a time instead of trying to debug ten thousand.  My Inqling series of robots is more my speed.

But... I am very interested in your hand.  Although, I believe the video will answer a bunch of questions (I'm heading to the library this morning to watch all your stuff)... I'm curious about the actual geometry.  As I bet you know, getting the load paths "just right" is critical.

For string, I'm using the braided fishing line.  It is made out of Spectra (an Aramid similar to Kevlar).  It has exceptional strength and far less stretch and creep than Nylon.  I also have a Pro fisherman in the family, so I can get it for free. 🤣 I have lines from 10 pound test (thinner than a hair) to 300 pound test that is 0.3 mm in diameter.  Although I don't need the 300#, the diameter is a little easier on ABS or Nylon pulleys.

I look forward to watching your Vids.

Inq
