Hey guys.
I am Pierre, from South Africa. Electronic engineer, been teaching Science to high school kids in Thailand and China for two years. Enjoy RC flying, paragliding, snorkeling and SCUBA diving, and of course, tinkering with electronics.
Bill's channel is incredible, I love his videos. I will be getting back into engineering soon as I will be heading to Antarctica. I will be stationed at a base with a workshop, so if there are any cool projects or ideas or experiments that you want me to try, let me know. I will start my own channel in a few weeks but what's better than a collaboration!
Cheers
Hi Pierre
Welcome to the forum and I'm glad to hear that you like the YouTube channel.
Wow, Antarctica! That is going to be an amazing experience, although speaking as someone who just finished 7 months of terrible winter it doesn't really appeal to me at the moment LOL. But seriously, that sounds like a real adventure.
And, for the record, I would LOVE to do a collaboration with you! We could build an environmental sensor that could display the weather conditions on a web server or something like that.
Of course, you'd probably have to build everything before you leave, as I imagine that even Amazon doesn't deliver to Antartica!
?
