Hello All fellow DBW forum members.  I am a semi-retired, and fully frustrated project builder (always a lack of time, $, or skills...mostly skills!) and quickly came to appreciate the quality of the DBW tutorials and projects.   I particularly like having both the website tutorials and the youtube videos.   Really very well done on both accounts.

I used to use Arduino and do some C programming many years ago, and even did some data acquisition and control engineering work in former jobs.  With my semi-retirement (now having a bit more time and $) I wanted to get back into designing and building things (I like the sense of accomplishment when something I've built works well).

As my principal interest is in Arduino based projects (to do data acquisition and controlling devices) I decided to assemble a Arduino 'workstation' based on a couple of circuits and ideas here on DBW.   I don't particularly like the workbench having a sprawl of jumper wires, cables, parts etc. so I built a workstation to hold and power the Arduino and breadboards on a slanted cabinet.  It also let me use my 3d printer to add some features to keep the wiring neat.

I'll post full info on that build in the Projects forum shortly.

I look forward to drawing from AND contributing to the DBW value.

Cheers,
radwaste

Hello Andrew!

I can hardly wait to see your workstation - I've been thinking exactly the same way.  Though I imagine for pride if no other reason I'll design my own, I'd love to see your approach.

@hayttom

Thanks, I will post later today...if I can use a cross-topic link I will.

Like many projects here, they are as much to inspire new designs, while also allowing one to make a copy.

After I post, if you have any questions, just let me know.

Andrew
