Hello DroneBot Workshop Forum members!

I am Horst, I work as an audio professional and sound designer and the name of my profile is Klangkulisse, that‘s the name of my sound studio based in Austria. In English, Klangkulisse means something related to „Soundscape“, or an immersive sound.

With my 8 year old son I picked up a hobby with I left so many years ago. From what I remember 30 years ago I had a nice electronics project box as a gift with some jumper cables, circuit plans and some buzzers, that was 1990. In 2005 I decided not to study audio engineering because I wanted to use sound mixing consoles and not learn how to build them. In 2020 me and my son reanimated my collection of Arduino Uno and Nanos, which I ordered online but never could figure out how to use them. I was used to control a computer like a OSX, Windows or Raspberry Pi machine but I could not see any merrit in having a micro controller like a Arduino. Me and my son watch videos about components and that started basic basic like a video about a LED. At some point my YouTube feed was regularily populated by the videos of the DroneBot Workshop and I started to like the positivity, the ease and results that I got from the videos that Bill does.

For me DroneBot Workshop is like a great mixture of Bob Ross videos and science education and I truly have enjoyed every video that I have seen so far. Bill is a wonderful educator and I look forward to reach out to you guys here on this forum to discuss on the topics of the videos.

Best wishes

Klangkulisse
