I am an ex programmer from the 80's. My dad bought me a Sinclair ZX81 and I taught myself.

I worked as a professional programmer for many years and had programs in use all over the world in many different languages.  For those of you around in the 80's, my best man was on the team that wrote "Cosmic Convoy" for the Commodore 64 way back when.

I stopped programming in 2000 due to poor mental health.

I am a qualified pilot with vfr, imc and night qualifications.

Coming up to retirement, I thought I would dabble in electronics and the Arduino and ESP32 boards were perfect.

I have a 3D printer and the intention is to use that to create bespoke cases and parts for my electronics.
