Hi, my name is Xavier and I’m from Venezuela

Although, I prefer xav as my nickname. There are quite a few Xaviers all over the world, but not so many xavs 🙂

As I said in my entry title: I’m from Venezuela, and rather than being proud of it or not, I just wanted to let you guys know that we do love electronics too.

And one the goals I personally would like to accomplish is to teach more people in my country to love them too.

Since English is my second language, please feel free to give tips on how can I be more precise communicating with you as it is also my intention to get along and communicate as assertively as possible.

As far as my interest go, I’m personally interested in IoT applications since I’m an undergraduate degree student of telecommunications engineering but I’d really look forward to learn anything related to electronics or programming since it only will make me a better engineer. Namely, I’d love to get my hands on any of the most widely used dev boards like the Raspberry Pico, Arduino Uno, seeduino, esp32 as well as well as learn how to really get the most out of the single board computers like the raspberry pi. On the IoT side, I’d love to dive into radio, Bluetooth, wifi, LTE, sigfox and Lora. 

Of course right now I’m starting to take my first steps towards this things I only own a clone Arduino Uno, but that won’t stop me and with god’s help soon I’ll be having more sensors and dev boards, so I could follow up with all the amazing content that out there waiting for people like us to take a look.

Additionally, I’m sure that being part of this community will only motivate me to achieve this and is an excellent starting point to get to know people as passionate about electronics as myself and at the same time learn and see projects on this topics that certainly would set my imagination up and running. 

So, please feel free to give any kind of advice you would like to share with me I’d definitely appreciate it and I really look forward to get to know you, as well
