I am only new to this forum but...

Think you guys have wound up on my introductory post.  Think you should find a better place for your posts.

I agree, alan-1 should start a new topic in a more appropriate forum.

Anything seems possible when you don't know what you're talking about.

@patrickwd

Thanks for pointing that out, I tend not to look at the forum, just the posted body of text, bad habit to get into.

I just realized that this thread is still running in the "Introduce Yourself" forum. This is supposed to be for preliminary introductions for new members. After the introduction, questions, discussions and bragging are to be directed to one of the other forums which is more relevant.

You should continue discussing your particular problem in another, more appropriate forum too.

Hopefully, you'll find a solution to your problem soon 🙂

@robotbuilder   I use MS Paint also, I just screen shoot the fizzle dwg in TinkerCad, and paste them into the MS Paint. I then just delete all the stuff I don't need.. and redraw the parts for clarity.. I use photos of parts I find in a google search, copy the image , and past them on the the dwg as well..I mostly use TinkerCad for the simulation capability.. saves a lot of time debuging actual bread boarding circuits.. then I don't have to worry so much about letting all that "magic smoke" out...lol

I like to tell people to use what ever they feel comfortable with as far as what software to use in the documentation process..As you mentioned, documentation is VERY important!  I copy all my code and paste them into word docs for future reference, as with all my dwgs, and paint files.

regards,
