Hello, Thanks for accepting me into the forum

I am Australian living in the north of Thailand. My work was research into Numerical Weather forecasting with the Weather Service in Melbourne.  Throughout all my studies electronics remained a mystery to me. Something I was always going to get around to studying...but never found the time.  I am now retired and that time has come.  The veil of mystery is lifting.  While playing around with electronic components and ics I ran into arduino, this opens up to some pretty amazing possibilities.

Hope to share knowledge and experience with you guys, I am sure I will learn a lot from you.
