I am Muirén Ní Sídach (moor-RAYN ni-SHEE-dak) and I hail from Northern California. I found my way here by way of the DroneBot Workshop YouTube Channel whilst searching for information on stepper motors and rotary actuators, think motorized faders on an audio mixing board.

My interests, in part, are in the remote control of analogue pots with rotary actuator/encoders. A related part of this project is creating a workbench (of sorts) with an embedded mesh that reads RFID asset tags of objects laid on it, adding them automagically to inventory, and removes them from inventory when they are removed from the table. This has to be near-field with next to no false reads from bleed over if the "assets" are close to the workbench.
