Hi Everyone:
I'm Thom from the countyside near the small town of clover. A total newbe to electronics. I received an Arduino starter kit for Fathers' Day today.
Some of my other hobbies are customizing cars (I raced them when I was young), model railroading in F, HO, and N, archery, trout fishing, and modeling Sci-Fi.
Modeling SciFi got me interested in circuits for lighting. When I learn enough, I'd love to design, build, and install digital dashboards and infotainment systems in my old cars and trucks.
Lastly, I'm a retired soldier and retired procurement professional. Like some of you, I'm pushing 60 at 57 so we have time and culture in common.
Happy you're feeling better Bill!
Hi Thom
I'm feeling much better, very nice of you to ask. And welcome to the forum!
Arduino and model railroads are a perfect fit, we already have another forum member who is involved with that and I did HO gauge modeling a few decades ago myself. I'd actually love to get back into it, maybe N gauge this time to save space.
You're a young one at 57 Thom, I'll be hitting 60 at the end of the year!
?
Bill
