Hi everyone

I'm Pete. I'm retired and doing a little teaching in production operations. I'm a former process controls engineer and I used to do industrial work.  Now I'm relearning a lot with Arduino's in an attempt to do automation on my model trains.    I'm looking forward to learning a lot in the forums.  I hope my skills improve over time so I can contribute too.

Pete

Welcome to the forum Pete. I think there are a few other rail guys here to share with. I will probably be interested in that stuff after I move as long as the club is still around.

First computer 1959. Retired from my own computer company 2004.

Sure you can learn to be a programmer, it will take the same amount of time for me to learn to be a Doctor.

Hi Pete, Welcome to the forum..I'm a retired I & E tech, with over 40 years in the practice of industrial process controls.. I too am dabbling in the automation aspects of the Arduino Uno and PID control algorithms for speed controls on my robot tank I've been working on..

Looking forward to seeing how you progress on your train project..

regards,

LouisR
