Hi

Thanks to Bill and DroneBotWorkshop I can introduce myself.

I am Vectra and I am currently based in the UK, Wales to be exact.

I have an almost obsessive interest in Lego Technic and feel the need to make it move and do the things it should do.

Started out with Arduino and found the best teacher was Bill so here I am.

My son had some of the original Lego Technic stuff back in the 90s. We were highly invested in Lego, in fact, after the house and car, Lego was probably our third most valuable possession (I love Lego but it can get very expensive)!  As I recall he built a robot designed to scare our cat, which it did quite well.

As I recall MIT was using Lego Technic in some of its robotics courses back then.  Really amazing stuff.

Welcome to the forum, I'm sure I speak for everyone in saying we'd love to see some of your Lego Technic creations!

😎
