Hi folks, hardware/software engineer here, retired after 50+ years of fixing, making, breaking, and calibrating things. Started in Precision Measurement in USAF in early 70's, burning myself countless times on vacuum tubes and soldering irons (and a few shocks to round things out). Then I continued using that experience in the Primary Standards lab for Tektronix, learning more and gradually getting burned and shocked less. Got a lot more hardware experience before transitioning into software development. I've been focusing on SW since then, both professionally and as hobbies, retiring from Welch Allyn a few years ago after embedded development on Linux-based products. Still fiddling with software, and hardware, too.
I've been greatly enjoying many of Bill's videos, and have a couple of questions to ask about audio later on.
