I admit my knowledge of microcontrollers is very limited but I stumbled across an ATMega48 online today. I assume it's from the same family as the ATMega328P, but has anyone used it? It isn't specifically listed in the Arduino board list.
It's half the price of the ATMega328P here in Canada as far as I can tell. I'm trying to find something I can use standalone on a breadboard, instead of a DEV kit so I can explore low power sleep modes, among other things.
