Hi all,
My name is Klaus...sounds Taiwanese ? not really. Actually I moved from Germany to Taiwan.
I live and work there as an service engineer for CNC Grinding machines. And will not go back to Germany.
I'm interested in robotics and sensors. Currently I'm working on a robot. I will post pictures later.

First computer 1959. Retired from my own computer company 2004.
Hardware - Expert in 1401, and 360, fairly knowledge in PC plus numerous MPU's and MCU's
Major Languages - Machine language, 360 Macro Assembler, Intel Assembler, PL/I and PL1, Pascal, Basic, C plus numerous job control and scripting languages.

You must be heartbroken to see what the lunatics have done to your country. We have had many excellent holidays in Germany in our campervan, Rhein, Moselle, Fussen to name a few favourites. Camped on the Moselle drinking wine from their own vineyard, such happy memories. Quality campsites, delicious food.
Enjoy Taiwan and your robots. Are we talking self balancing or industrial here ?

Living there or being there as tourist is very different. But that would be the same for any country.
Taiwan is not bad. I like it there.
I'm building robots more like experimental. 4 wheels with sensor packs, cameras and gripper.
